The Central Indiana IMAA Chapter 48 is a model aircraft club, originally chartered on December 12th 1981 by the
International Miniature Aircraft Association, Inc.

Our main interest is in building and flying giant scale and sport aircraft.

Annualy, usually on a Saturday in September, we host our annual Giant Scale Fly-in. The 2011 event will be on Saturday September 17th 2011 and Butch Hedrick will be the CD.

We are very thankful to be able to share the flying field and our website with the Madison County R/C Flyers, Inc.

If you are in the vicinity of our field we would love to have you stop by to visit with us and perhaps fly with us and even join our ranks. We always welcome guests & spectators. We recognize Standard AMA safety rules and IMAA guidelines and a little common sense.

Weekends are usually the best time to visit.
Bring the little ones over to have them get an appreciation of our hobby. Who knows, they may become involved with one of the greatest hobbies there is.
